Crave Subs uses halal meat with fresh bread, produce, and a tasty sauce to make a fun and healthy sub. Crave Subs was born in San Francisco at San Francisco State University. Our flagship location was such a success with the faculty and students at SFSU, we opened a second location in the heart of Berkeley (across from the UC Berkeley campus) in June 2019.

Come visit and enjoy our wide selection of sandwiches. We have Vegetarian and Vegan options to suit everyone. We also have halal options, what is halal? Halal refers to meat that is meat prepared in accordance with Islamic dietary standards. This includes the humane treatment of animals during meat procurement. All the meats served at Crave Subs are halal.
 
We offer take-out, and inside table seating as well as a patio so you can enjoy those beautiful Berkeley days while munching on one of our delicious subs.
